We are looking for a senior consultant to help build and deliver cross-border advisory projects for MedTech, Digital Health and HealthTech companies expanding between Europe and Latin America. The role combines international IP strategy, brand protection, trademark portfolio understanding, regulatory-commercial market entry thinking and coordination with external legal, regulatory and commercial partners.

About the role

In this role, you will support companies preparing to enter new healthcare markets across Europe and Latin America. You will help map brand, IP, regulatory and commercial risks before launch, prepare management briefings, coordinate external counsel and local experts, and contribute to the development of our advisory methodology. The position is designed for someone who understands that cross-border HealthTech launches require more than isolated legal or regulatory advice. They require strategic preparation, structured decision-making and careful coordination across jurisdictions.

What you will work on

  • Support market entry projects for MedTech, Digital Health, SaMD and healthcare technology companies expanding between Europe and Latin America.
  • Analyze trademark portfolios, brand architecture, domain strategies and brand protection risks at a strategic level.
  • Prepare IP and brand readiness assessments for healthcare companies before launch.
  • Map cross-border risks related to trademarks, domains, product claims, commercial positioning and local market entry.
  • Coordinate with licensed external legal counsel, patent/trademark attorneys, regulatory consultants and local commercial partners where required.
  • Prepare client-facing strategy documents, launch roadmaps, risk maps and management briefings.
  • Support partner and distributor research for selected European and Latin American markets.
  • Contribute to the development of internal research workflows using AI and LegalTech tools.
  • Help build a network of trusted external experts across Europe, Latin America and the United States.
  • Work directly with the founding team on positioning, service design and early client delivery.

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years of professional experience in intellectual property, trademark strategy, brand protection, legal operations or related advisory work.
  • Strong understanding of trademark portfolio management, oppositions, cancellation actions, enforcement workflows, anti-counterfeiting or domain name disputes.
  • Experience working with international clients, ideally across LATAM, the United States and Europe.
  • Ability to translate complex legal, regulatory and commercial issues into clear strategic recommendations for business teams.
  • Familiarity with regulated industries such as healthcare, medical devices, digital health, consumer health, life sciences or technology.
  • Experience coordinating external counsel, local experts or cross-border professional service providers.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Native or fluent Spanish.
  • German language skills are a plus, but not required at native level.
  • Comfort using AI and LegalTech tools to improve research, analysis and advisory workflows.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to help build a new advisory practice from the ground up.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to EU trademark practice, EUIPO procedures or European brand strategy.
  • Experience in or with law firms, in-house legal teams, IP boutiques, startups or founder-led advisory environments.
  • Understanding of medical device, SaMD, Digital Health or healthcare commercialization pathways.
  • Experience with UDRP/domain name disputes, online brand protection or digital regulatory matters.
  • International academic or professional exposure in Europe or Latin America.
